The X-Men franchise is one of the most storied comic book franchises in pop culture history. It has spawned numerous hit movies, including the summer 2011 hit motion picture X-Men: First Class. The X-Men have also crossed over into the world of video games as well going all the way back to NES days with The Uncanny X-Men by LJN in 1992.
The latest video game X-Men: Destiny, allows to the player to step into the role of one of three playable mutants. Set in San Fransisco, the player can choose between the X-Men and The Brotherhood of Mutants with an emphasis on choices that ultimately decide the destiny of their characters. The box art for the game was recently revealed and you can get a better look at them below. Along with a trailer for the video game released during San Diego Comic Con. The game is being developed by Silicon Knights and will be published by Activision. The game will be playable on PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS video game systems. X-Men Destiny is scheduled for a release on September 27th, 2011.
